Google Earth in browser
The times when the Google Earth application had to be downloaded and installed manually on your computer passed. Now you can use Google Earth (earth.google.com) directly from the Google Chrome browser on any platform:
- Smartphone;
- Tablet;
- Laptop;
- PC.
In order for Google Earth to run on any platform, Google completely redesigned its product, migrating it to a Web platform with WebGL technology. At the moment Google Earth is only supported in the Google Chrome browser, but Google promises to ensure compatibility of Google Earth with all other most common browsers, as they are ready.
In order to quickly see the wonders of modernity, you can use a separate navigator. In one click you can move to the mountains and virtually wander through the famous peaks.
If you like historical sites, then they created a separate catalog, where each significant object accompanies the description and quality photographs.
However, it is most valuable to use Google Earth in conjunction with the 3D mode and wander about in interesting places, both in the first person, without getting up from the table. Including viewing panoramic views, both from a bird's eye view, and from the ground level.
